CanItBuy Terms of Service
This is a translation. The Polish version is the governing version.
1. Provider
- CanItBuy runs at canitbuy.com (the “Service”).
- The Service is provided by Łukasz Mucek, correspondence address: pl. Piastów 3/5, 59-100 Polkowice, Poland, email: hello@canitbuy.com (the “Provider”).
- These terms set the rules for services provided electronically under the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means. They are available free of charge in the Service and can be saved or printed.
2. Services
The Provider offers the following services free of charge:
- Store scan: a check of public store pages (home page, robots.txt and llms.txt files, sitemap, one product page) with a preliminary score of up to 40 points.
- AI agent test: one run of a test agent through the purchase path in a real browser, with a live view. Each domain gets one free test.
- Report: the test result with screenshots and the agent’s steps, available at a unique link.
- Report link by email to the address you provide, when this feature is enabled in the Service.
- Tips and offers by email: only for people who opted in.
Paid plans (Monitor, Pro, Agency) are not on sale yet. Before they launch, the Provider will add payment terms to these terms.
3. How the test agent works
- The agent visits only the public pages of the store you name and behaves like a customer: it browses products, picks a variant, adds a product to the cart and goes to checkout.
- The agent always stops before payment. It never places orders, creates accounts, logs in, or types personal or payment data.
- The scanner identifies itself in the User-Agent header as CanItBuyBot and the agent as CanItBuyAgent. Neither bypasses bot protection. If a store blocks automated visitors, the report says so.
- Store owners can switch tests off for their domain as described at canitbuy.com/bot.
- The agent uses an AI language model from third-party providers. Screenshots and the content of the tested store’s public pages are sent to the model provider so the agent can choose its next step.
4. Technical requirements and acceptable use
- You need an internet-connected device and an up-to-date browser with JavaScript enabled. An email address is needed to start an agent test.
- You may not supply unlawful content or use the Service against the law or good practice, or in a way that disrupts the Service or the tested stores, in particular by circumventing the free test limit or ordering tests in bulk by automated means.
- The Provider may refuse to run a scan or test, in particular when the store owner has opted out, the domain’s free test has been used, or the test could break the law or infringe the rights of others.
5. Score and report
- The score (Agent-Readiness Score, 0–100) is a simplified rating: up to 40 points for the scan and up to 60 points for the stage of the purchase path the agent reached.
- The score describes the CanItBuy test agent on the day of the test. Other AI systems, including shopping assistants from other companies, may behave differently. The score does not guarantee recommendations, traffic or sales.
- The agent uses AI and can make mistakes, for example misread an element. The report shows what the agent saw and did so you can check it.
- Anyone with the unique link can view a report. Share it with care.
- Reports and their screenshots are kept for up to 12 months after the test and then deleted automatically. Ask at hello@canitbuy.com and we will delete a report sooner.
- CanItBuy is an independent tool, not affiliated with OpenAI, Google, Anthropic or any other AI provider.
6. Formation and termination
- A contract for a scan or agent test is formed when you start it and ends once the result or report is shown.
- A contract for tips and offers is formed when you opt in. You can end it at any time with the unsubscribe link in any message or by writing to hello@canitbuy.com.
- Consumers may withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving a reason by writing to hello@canitbuy.com. The services are free, so withdrawal or termination costs nothing.
7. Complaints
- Send complaints by email to hello@canitbuy.com or by post to the correspondence address. A description of the problem and the store address or report link help us.
- The Provider will reply within 14 days of receipt, in the same way the complaint was made unless you ask otherwise.
- Consumers may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, for example help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman in Poland or a consumer organisation. More: uokik.gov.pl.
8. Liability
- The Provider works to keep the Service running correctly but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Breaks may result from maintenance or provider outages.
- Scores and reports are for information. You decide yourself what to change in your store.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer rights under mandatory law.
9. Personal data
How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy.
10. Final provisions
- The Provider may change these terms for important reasons, such as changes in the law or new services. Changes apply from publication of the new version in the Service and do not affect tests already run. We will email people subscribed to tips and offers at least 14 days before changes that affect that service.
- Polish law applies to matters not covered here. This choice of law does not deprive consumers of protection under provisions that cannot be excluded by contract.
