Our agent identifies itself (CanItBuyAgent) and signs its requests with Web Bot Auth, so your firewall can verify it is really us. It never solves CAPTCHAs or bypasses bot protection. Store owners can opt out with one robots.txt line.

Can’t I just ask ChatGPT to visit my store?
A chat describes a page. We run a real browser agent through your cart and up to the checkout, the way a shopper’s agent would: it identifies itself, signs its requests with Web Bot Auth and never bypasses a CAPTCHA. Every week we compare AI models from five providers side by side on 21 controlled reference stores, including trap stores and three real shop platforms, and we record every step, so you see exactly where and why an agent stops.
Does CanItBuy make real purchases?
No. The agent shops like a customer but always stops before payment. It never places orders, creates accounts or types personal or payment data.
Which AI agents do you test with?
Our own agent: a real Chrome browser driven by an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway. The weekly ranking compares models from five providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Alibaba (Qwen) and Amazon (Nova). We don’t run ChatGPT’s or other companies’ agents, so their results may differ.
Does a high score guarantee sales from ChatGPT or other assistants?
No. ACRS shows whether an agent can technically buy from you. Whether an assistant recommends your store also depends on your products, prices and reviews.
Which platforms do you support?
Any public store. Ready-made fixes cover Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop. For BigCommerce, Magento and others we describe the exact change in your page code. WooCommerce stores also get our free Agent Ready plugin.
What if my firewall blocks your agent?
The report says so. That is useful to know: the same rule may also block real AI assistants. We show you how to let verified agents in.
Can CanItBuy fix my store automatically?
The free report gives full steps for the top 3 blockers and one ready-made code fix; you see the remaining issues as a list. For WooCommerce there is the free CanItBuy Agent Ready plugin, which adds EAN, brand, returns and delivery to your product data: canitbuy.com/plugin.
Is ACRS an official industry standard?
No. It is CanItBuy’s open method. We publish it on the ACRS page and develop it in public, together with the benchmark.
How often is my store tested?
Once per domain, free. We do not sell weekly store monitoring until AI agents buy on their own in European stores.
